Making Healthy Routines to Prevent Hair Loss

June 10, 2010, 2:16 pm

The truth about male pattern baldness is that very few people all over the world control to avert it; if you’re a man, you probably know this already because if you browse at your family get-together, you’ll find a lot of men in your family having very similar problem. If your hair breaks off and falls off easily, then most probably you have weak follicles. Having a strong hair also means having strong roots; you should make sure that your hair receives a good daily supply of nutrients it needs to produce strong and dense hair.

Men are more prone to hair loss and it can start an early age; if you do not start to take better care of your hair, you will not just have issues with hair loss but may suffer evident baldness at such a young age. This can be built up if men will improperly take better care of their hair especially when their follicles have already reached the point of not producing adequate amounts and hair or are not producing hair at a standard rate. Basic hair care is something all men should know at a young age and not just when they’ve already lost most of their hair and they’re trying to supplement for lost time; take care of your hair now and harvest your gifts later.

Dynamically wiping your hair with a towel after a bath is one common habit for a lot of people, men and women alike; there are those also who use a blow dryer to totally dry their hair. What you need to do is get a smooth towel and gently pat your hair dry; it may take longer but as a minimum it won’t pull your hair out from the roots. Instead of rubbing the towel on your head to dry your hair, pat your hair to dry it off; also do not use blow dryer daily, you can use it once in a while but using it every day can cause some serious damage to your hair.

Take food supplements like Provillus to help your hair get the nutrition it necessitates; you also need to make sure your regimen, you need to eat more of green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C and E. Provillus is a very effective product that stops DHT or dihydrotestosterone which interrupts the normal hair growth process. Most men like meat and are fond of including meat in their daily menu; however, you need to eat food that is rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin E which can help fix broken cells. Studies have identified the hormones that cause male pattern baldness to something called dihydrotestosterone which is a kind of testosterone; this means that if you have more testosterone in your body, then you have more chances of developing dihydrotestosterone or DHT.

If you love to dye your hair different colors every month or if you like to perm or curl it, it may be a good idea to end the routine before you have nothing to dye or fashion anymore. Avoid using uncompromising dandruff shampoo; a lot of what is being said about dandruff shampoo is just a misconception and not entirely factual. Experts know that dandruff shampoos can only control dandruff to a particular stages, but a method to thoroughly eradicate it and stop it from coming back is still being studied and researched up till now.

Taking care of your hair is a matter of respect for your hair follicles; feed it, clean it, let it rest and it will keep on doing its job longer and better.
